Web Design
It takes a village to make a website, too.
And in that village there is a graphic artist, a usability
guy, an editor, a photoshop whiz, a typographer, an HTML coder,
a logician, a marketer, a salesman, a database integrator,
and a guy with a (digital) cash register.
Since I'm typically the only guy in my web design village
I tend to have to play all of those roles, many of them all
at the same time.
On the other hand, I'm not really an art design type. I usually
hire an artist or work with a template to get the fine art
stuff started. I then take that original art and make it into
a working communication tool for you and your business.
And, let's face it, the fact that I can write raw HTML code
doesn't make me a programmer, either. But I can talk to the
database guys in their own language, write a specifications
document if necessary, and get your site's business functions
up and running well.
What I do best is discover what it is about you and your
product that you want to communicate and then advise you on
the best way to package that information so that it matches
perfectly with what your customer is looking for.
We then work together so that your web interface presents
the least degree of obstruction to your users getting what
they came for.
That makes me a sort of web producer.
And, if your site visitors really are your customers that
means that you will be selling products or at least getting
your point across, if that's your goal.
Here's some recent projects from my web design village:
Let me know if you'd like to stop by for a visit, too.

and recently redid the design as a copy demo)
