THIS IS OLD!

 

THIS IS OLD!

when we're tired all of the time,

we are not telling the truth when

we say: "We're Feeling Just Fine".

 

THIS IS OLD!

when all the days seem like the same,

we keep looking for our glasses,

we have a leg that is lame.

 

THIS IS OLD!

when our mind goes on vacation,

when reminiscing

is our favorite vocation.

 

THIS IS OLD when we want our

mornings to come in the afternoon,

when getting dressed before

12 noon is way too soon.

 

THIS IS OLD

When we are on the way down hill,

when each day finds us

taking pill after pill.

 

THIS IS OLD

when we are too lazy to shave,

when our children have to

tell us how to behave.

 

THIS IS OLD when our

teeth are rested in a jar for the night,

when going to sleep in our recliner

for us is just pure delight.
