Reformer By Appointment
What makes us great…….
Our pilates program has been going strong for the
past five years! We offer mat and Reformer machine
classes for all ages and levels of ability. We also
offer “Dancers Pilates”, a conditioning
class specific to dancers needs. Our studio has
a “Reformer Room” with 3 state-of-the-art
Stott Reformer Machines. We have all the equipment
necessary for a dynamic mat class: extra long foam
mats, fitness circles, arc barrels for lumbar support,
poles and 9-lb body bars, as well as 3 beautiful
mirrored studios! Our instructors are all certified
through extensive training programs, offering the
best instruction in town.
Small Groups
All of our level 1 (Beginners) mat classes meet
in small groups of up to 4 people in order to provide
more individualized attention. Please call the studio
to make an appointment with an instructor. Level
1 prices: 6 classes for $105 (tax is included).
Reformer By Appointment
Reformer classes are done by appointment only.
Please call the studio for prices, or to schedule
a lesson (available as a private lesson, or in groups
of 2 or 3). Anyone interested in the Reformer is
advised to take mat classes in order to develop
a basic understanding of pilates body alignment,
breathing, and coordination.

What is
it?
A body conditioning
program developed over 70 years ago by
a man named Joseph Pilates. The focus
is on deep muscle strength, specifically
in the abdominals, joints, and back.
Within an hour-long
class, over 20 exercises will be executed
through fluid movements and deep breathing
patterns, resulting in a full body workout.
Most exercises are
done either seated or lying down, and
are kind to the joints. Mat classes offer
deep abdominal strength as well as weight-bearing
work.
Reformer machine
classes offer resistance training, and
can make more work for the abdominals
and extremities
