Summer Intensive 2005:

Dates and Times

The Nolte Academy of Dance Summer Intensive (NADSI) 2005 will begin on Monday, July 25 and run through Friday, August 12.

Dancers will be placed in 2 levels, intermediate and advanced and each will work with the entire faculty at an appropriate pace. Throughout the course of this three week intensive, individual attention will be placed on technique in all styles, as well as professional seminars geared toward a career in dance and the arts.

There are no weekend classes.

Classes will begin at 9:00 a.m. and conclude at 4:00 p.m. with a 45 minute lunch break. There may be additional choreography rehearsals with the faculty in preparation for our Showcase Performance.

Tuition and Policies

  • There is a 10% family discount; family members must be enrolled in a session on similar type; 2 five week session students. Take 10% off of the family total.
  • There is a 10% discount for a student enrolling in the 5 week session and princess or junior camp.
  • There will be a $12.00 service charge for all returned checks. Mastercard/Visa accepted.
  • Summer tuition is non-refundable after June 1st, and non-transferable.
  • There is a 6 student minimum for each class.
  • Appropriate dance attire/shoes are required. See details here

Lodging

Host families will accommodate our dancers. We work to match students of the same age and level. Guest housing is $75 per week.

Extra Activities
Dancers may participate in such events as a movie night, pizza party, and theatre events: additional information will be available at the beginning of classes.

The Iowa City area boasts a number of activities and events in a safe college atmosphere. Additionally, there will be an end of camp performance and choreography showing.
