The Declaration of Interdependence
When in the Course of human evolution, it becomes self-evident
that human life must disassociate itself from the intellectual
constructs which have disconnected it from its basis in totality,
so as to assume among the creatures of the earth an integrated
and proper station as a pure and simple expression of the
Laws of Nature, the status of which Nature's God entitles
them, a decent respect to the opinions of mankind requires
that they should declare the causes which impel them to pursue
and ensure the reintegration.
We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all creatures
are created in and suffused with wholeness, that they are
endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable qualities,
that among these are pure consciousness, infinite freedom
and intrinsic bliss or pure happiness--That to insure the
universal experience and unfoldment of these qualities, Governments
are instituted among people, deriving their just powers from
their conformance to the structures of natural law, --That
whenever Forms of Government become functionally ignorant
of these laws, it is the Right and the Duty of the People
to restructure and redirect them, and to institute new Governments,
laying their foundations on such principles and organizing
their powers in such form, as to them shall seem most likely
to effect their evolution and enlightenment.
Prudence, indeed, will dictate that Governments long established
should not be changed for light and transient causes, but
rather to increase enlightenment and permanence in the fabric
of each nation; and accordingly all experience hath shewn,
that mankind are more disposed to suffer, while evils are
sufferable, than to right themselves by abolishing the forms
to which they are accustomed. But when subjected to a long
train of imbalances and imperfections, pursuing invariably
the same Object evinces a design to reduce them under absolute
ignorance, it is their right, it is their duty, to reorient
such Governments, and to provide new principles for their
future growth and development.
Such has been the patient sufferance of these earth inhabitants;
and such is now the necessity which constrains them to alter
their former styles of Government. The history of the present
structure of our societies is a history of repeated inequities
and incompetencies, all having in direct object the establishment
of an ineffective governance over these Nations. To remedy
this, let Facts be submitted to a candid world.
We declare our total interconnectedness as indicated by the
holistic dynamic silence quality of the ancient, eternal and
quintessentially immediate knowledge of RK Ved
We declare that all scientific study must discover it's fundamental
unity and it's basis in the unified, quantum field of pure
consciousness, as upheld by the flowing wakefulness-flowing
quality of Sama Ved
We declare that all technology must be reintegrated with
natural law, and in tune with the progressive, integrated
and automatically harmonious qualities that are upheld by
the offering and creating quality of Yajur Ved
We declare that International Relations must restructure
itself on the basis of giving, such that the great distinction
among nations will not be who is the most powerful, but who
is the most unifying, cooperative, culturally respectful,
and giving, with all such qualities upheld by the reverberating
wholeness-reverberating quality of Atharva Ved
We declare that Primary and Secondary Education will be restructured
to fully develop the complete student, both in terms of specific
packages of knowledge and in terms of expanding the receptivity
and capability of the student to learn through the experience
of expansion of conscious capacity made available through
the programs of self-development known as Transcendental Meditation
and the TM-Sidhi Program, including Yogic Flying, such that
all students will become the expression and the exponents
of wholeness, as upheld by the expressing quality of Shiksha
We declare that the goals of higher education will be restructured
to aid in the self-transformation of every individual from
their existing intellectual and experiential capacity to a
state where they have unfolded the full potential of life
in infinite freedom and enlightenment, a process that is upheld
and empowered by the transforming quality of Kalp
We declare that the governments of humankind shall specialize
in the full expansion of human potential and the potential
for cooperation, mutual enhancement and celebration of the
full flowering of the garden of human cultures, upheld by
the expanding quality of Vyakaran
We declare that internal affairs of each country will be
enriched by the stabilizing effects of self-referral on both
the individual and national level, such that each nation takes
complete responsibility for its own behavior and experience,
and enriches that due to the individual self-referral practice
of the Transcendental Meditation and the TM-Sidhi Program,
including Yogic Flying, by its citizens, all of which activity
will be upheld by the self-referral quality of Nirukt
We declare that all ministries of finance will be enhanced
such that infinite wealth finds its way into every home, based
on the orderly flow of information and facilitated accomplishment
of it’s enlightened members, upheld and guided by the
measuring and quantifying quality of Chhand,
We declare that the environment will be treasured and cherished
as the landscape of our own hearts, and that every inch of
the globe will be treasured as a sacred manifestation of the
possibility and eventually the manifestation of divine beauty,
upheld by the all-knowing quality of Jyotish
We declare that justice will be served by educating all peoples
in how to accomplish their deepest desires with means that
are in tune with natural law, give the highest degree of success,
and yet violate the rights and needs of no other individual,
people or natural construct, such that all success will come
to all peoples, and a natural outpouring of immeasurably just
behavior will be guided by the distinguishing and deciding
quality of Nyaya
We declare that our natural resources shall be intimately
and appropriately protected, nourished and enhanced by the
specifying quality of Vaisheshik
We declare that a new currency which has no taint of war,
the RAAM, the currency of the Maharishi Global Country of
World peace shall bless the entire globe with a legacy of
abundance and perfect commerce, upheld by the enumerating
quality of Samkhya
We declare that the exalted and perfect evolutionary technology
of the TM-Sidhi Program will be made available to all peoples,
upheld by the unifying quality of Yoga
We declare that all research will take an evolutionary direction
in the investigation of the laws of nature such that research
will produce practical insights and procedures for the growth
of human life and accomplishments through technologies that
are completely and faultlessly in tune with natural law based
on the analyzing quality of Karma Mimansa
We declare that all religions will find their fulfillment
by the personal realization by all individuals, as a foundation
for true religious experience, of the lively absolute living
wholeness of I-ness being quality of Vedant.
We declare that the special role of all cultures will be
to excel in the development and expansion of life as one big
celebration of infinite variety amidst perfect unity, cooperation,
love and a refined sense of mutual appreciation, upheld by
the integrating and harmonizing quality of GandharvaVed
We declare that the defense of each country will be assured
by the infinite strength of each culture and principality
and it’s treasured status in the family of nations,
upheld by the invincible and progress quality of Dhanur Ved
We declare that the entire world is deserving and in need
of establishing and maintaining a total reconstruction of
its living and work spaces into attunement with natural law
such that there isn’t a single sick building on the
planet, every edifice brings health and success to its inhabitants,
and that this World Reconstruction will be upheld by the establishing
quality of Sthapatya ved
We declare that all agriculture will be reoriented to become
totally healthy, organic, life supporting and nourishing to
all of life, upheld by the nourishing quality of Harita Samhita
We declare the deep respect and enjoyment inherent in every
variety of speech or language, as exemplary of the qualities
of creative intelligence manifest in each country, and welcome
the ongoing evolution and celebration of each Mother Tongue
as it evolves in expression of each culture’s highest
aspirations and values, as upheld by the differentiating quality
of Bhel Samhita
We declare the integrity of every national and international
culture as treasured examples of the infinite possibility
of human variety, and that we support each culture’s
growth toward the realization of its highest goals, based
on the equivalency quality of Kashyap Samhita
We declare that the future of health products shall be to
continually realign each human physiology with it’s
own inner connectedness, due to the infinite connectedness
of the field of pure consciousness of which it is an expression,
upheld by the balancing, holding together and supporting quality
of Charak Samhita
We declare that health facilities shall excel in reestablishing
the health of the separate functions of the body and their
subsequent reconnection in an integrated whole, in an environment
that allows patients to heal independently of potential negative
environmental effects, upheld by the separating quality of
Sushrut Samhita
We declare that Vedic Sounds and Vedic vibration technology
will be elaborated, celebrated and become commonly available
as technologies for the expansion of human potential and the
elimination of all physical and mental imbalances, upheld
by the communication and eloquence quality of Vagbhatt Samhita
We declare that health education will be expanded to an exalted,
cosmic perspective based on the diagnosing quality of Madhav
Nidan Samhita
We declare that all industry will be integrated not only with
the needs of the manufacturer, which will be completely fulfilled,
but also with the expansionary, enjoyment, economic and evolutionary
needs of the working and consumer aspects of each industrial
concern, upheld by the synthesizing quality of Sharngadahr
Samhita
We declare that the preeminence of the field of Maharishi
Vedic Science to embrace, nourish and fulfill all fields of
academic and human inquiry will be upheld by the enlightening
expanding quality of Bhava-Prakash Samhita
We declare that the technique of Transcendental Meditation
will become universally available and as naturally a part
of every human life as any other daily activity, such that
the entire collection of humankind will be mutually and joyfully
evolving toward their highest potential at all times, upheld
by the Transcending quality of Upanishad
We declare that business and commercial interests will become
a celebration of the expansion of human creativity, imagination
and ingenuity in developing products and services that will
enhance the expansion and enjoyment of human life and a natural
integration of that life with the environment in a frictionless
relationship, based on the steering quality of Aranyak
We declare that the technology and capability of Yagya performances
to avert the danger that has not arisen will become the natural
policy of every individual, business and political entity,
such that all parties will compete to assure the most rapid,
evolutionary and effective growth of the planet toward totally
enlightened and blissful existence, upheld by the structuring
quality of Brahmana
We declare that the dismal science of economics will be transformed
into an entire culture laughing its way to the bank, due to
the growth of the enlightened knowledge of the total potential
for the great wealth of every individual, based on the blossoming
of totality quality of the “last laugh” of the
Ved, Itihas
We declare the great treasure inherent in the histories of
each human culture, upheld by the ancient and eternal quality
of Puran
We declare that Computer and Electronic Technologies be enhanced
by the discovery of their nature as practical expressions
of the infinite connection and totality of the memory of ones
own infinite value, upheld by the memory quality of Smriti
We declare the eternal preeminence of the priority of every
government in excelling in the field of Creating Coherence
on the personal, national and international level, upheld
by the all-pervading wholeness quality of RK Ved Pratishakhya
We declare the expanded role of the industries of Information
and Press is spreading not only emerging events, but also
the possibilities inherent in life for the expansion of silent
inner stability, mutual gifting and cultural appreciation,
upheld by the silencing, sharing and spreading quality of
Shukt-Yajur-Ved Pratishakhya
We declare the role of energy suppliers and researchers to
establish means and technologies for the production of energy
that are non-harmful to the earth itself and/or its inhabitants,
based on the unfolding quality of Atharva Ved Pratishakhya
We declare the preeminence of research, finances, and international
cooperation for the development of technologies of Renewable
Energy, upheld by the dissolving expanding quality of Atharva
Ved Pratishakhya (Chaturadhyayi)
We declare the expanded role of Telecommunications in creating
infinite connectivity between people and cultures, upheld
by the omnipresent quality of Krishn-Yajur-Ved Pratishakhya
(Taittiriya)
We declare the highest orientation of humankind as that of
an establishment of a state of total World Harmony, upheld
by the unmanifesting the parts but manifesting the whole quality
of Sama Ved Pratishakhya (Pushpa Sutram)
We, therefore, the citizens of the planet earth, in General
Congress, Assembled, appealing to the Supreme Judge of the
world for the rectitude of our intentions, do, in the Name,
and by Authority of the good People of this planet, solemnly
publish and declare, That these United, cohabitant peoples
are, and of Right ought to be Free and Enlightened; that they
are Absolved from all Allegiance to any ideology that would
disallow such development for all humankind, and that all
prior connection between them and such intellectual or philosophical
or political structures, is and ought to be totally dissolved;
and that as Free and Independent people, they have full Power
and capability to achieve personal enlightenment, establish
world peace, and to do all other Acts and Things which Independent
and fully developed beings may of right do.
And for the support of this Declaration, with a firm reliance
on the protection of divine Providence, we mutually pledge
to each other our activities, our intentions and our daily
expanding experience of the totality of inner and outer enlightenment
and its resultant effects of interconnectedness, inner connection,
and infinite interdependence.
